Future Position Openings

Child and Adolescent Therapist – Part Time and Full Time 1099 Position

We are looking for someone who loves to work with kids, teens, and parents and is ideally a Registered Play Therapist™ or someone who is looking to earn their RPT™ credential. We are looking for an in person therapist who can also see clients virtually. We provide a warm and fully equipped play therapy space and will take care of filling your schedule with clients that are the best fit for you. 

Required Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree (or higher) in Mental Health Counseling

    • Hold an active LPC, LPC Associate, or LMSW license in the State of Texas

    • Child, adolescent or play therapy training at the graduate level (for those applying for the child and adolescent position)

    • Knowledge of professional counseling ethical practices, policies, and procedures

    • Self-motivated, collaborative, and commitment to continuing CE requirements

    • LGBTQIA+ affirming
    • Willing to commit to seeing clients at least 2 days after school or one day during the weekend.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide clinical counseling services based on your clinical specialization

    • Provide regular parenting support and/or parent consultations (for those applying for the child and adolescent position)

    • Offer sessions at least two evenings per week or one day on the weekend 

    • Maintain a caseload of at least 15 clients per week (for full time) or at least 5 clients (for part time)

    • Utilize various expressive and trauma-informed modalities using a foundational theoretical framework

    • Ensure sessions notes, treatment plans, and other documentation are completed and updated in a timely manner

    • Participate in team meetings and/or one on one updates with director
