Training Overview
Successfully onboarding a client requires several factors we often do not consider. Important skills such as connecting with a prospective client in the initial phone call, screening to ensure we’re a good therapeutic fit, setting boundaries on several factors in the therapeutic relationship, due diligence in reviewing intake forms, and more! Join us for this 3 hour training where we’ll explore the art of completing the consultation and intake process for a strong foundation of the therapeutic process.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Training Objectives
• Discuss what to cover in consultation calls.
• List necessary documents to gather prior to an intake session.
• Identify ways to screen for CPS, custody evaluations, legal involvement, etc.
• Review ethics regarding what is required in a client file pertaining to an intake.
• List necessary components for an intake session.
• Learn ways to reinforce your roles and boundaries pertaining to legal involvement.

• Cost: $125 or $100 early rate through 6/13/25
