Our Approach to Clinical Supervision

We view supervision as an evolving process in which our ultimate goal is to ensure that you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality therapy services. Although we view the person of the therapist as continuously growing, learning, and evolving, we believe that during our time together, we will explore, maximize, and identify growth needed for the future in this lifelong learning process. We practice from a developmental and humanistic framework, meaning we will explore the developmental stages of supervision together and we will provide feedback and support in each stage.

Some of our goals that we will work on together include (but are not limited to):

  1. Objective feedback and guidance in all aspects of your work as a therapist
  2. Consultation and direction on ethical situations and dilemmas that arise
  3. Helpful and constructive feedback on your process as a therapist (from your very first meeting with a client to termination)
  4. Understanding what it means to conceptualize a case and how theory supports conceptualization
  5. Explore therapeutic interventions and resources that can further support your work with clients.

We provide supervision for License Professional Counselor Associates, License Master Social Workers, and Registered Play Therapists ™.
