Teddy Piedra

Teddy and Rosalie are recent graduates of the Texas State Animal-Assisted Counseling Academy, class of 2023! Teddy completed training prior to being a student at Texas State University at the Canine Center and earned his canine good citizen certificate. Teddy is Rosalie’s therapy partner and currently attends sessions with Rosalie on a bi-weekly basis. Teddy has experience working with children, teens, and adults and is often incorporated into therapy interventions.

Fun Facts About Teddy:

• Teddy is a mini Goldendoodle and is as friendly as you would expect a Goldendoodle to be!
• Teddy’s favorite toy is a ball
• Teddy can get picky with his food, he will get tired of the same treats and we often have to change up the flavors
• Teddy was voted “softest fur” during his time at Texas State
• Teddy has 2 human siblings and 2 canine siblings
